A city-wide movement led by builders on the ground, reclaiming the future of innovation and shaping it together.
The Force Behind OHMTL
ElanTech, Quebec’s longest running grassroots tech community organization, is proud to spearhead Open House Montréal, Tech Week of Builders - OHMTL.
Rooted in the spirit of community and openness, OHMTL is an extension of homegrown initiatives such as Startup Open House, Montreal AI Week, and ElanTech’s own monthly AI Build Days. While ElanTech leads the coordination, the initiative is co-developed with a diverse committee of grassroots partners including Women Techmakers, Product Montréal, and Station FinTech Montréal, each contributing to the city’s collective innovation fabric.
OHMTL Week was created to open doors, foster meaningful connections, and invite the public into the spaces where ideas become reality.
This is more than an event. It is a civic invitation to explore, collaborate, and shape what’s next, together.
ElanTech is the new name for an old friend you might know as Montréal NewTech.
